近年来,济源地区出土了不少烧烤文物,真实生动地展示了济源当地先民食用烧烤的工具、食物、加工方法及过程。从人类开始使用火开始,烧烤就开始出现在人类的生活中。到了汉代,烧烤更是成为人们日常生活中的美食之一。从各地现存的庖厨图可以看出烧烤在上层社会的现实生活中已经非常普遍,而对于普通百姓则是比较难得的。

In recent years,many barbecue relics have been unearthed in Jiyuan,which have vividly demonstrated the tools,foods and processing methods of the local ancestors of Jiyuan.Since human began to use fire,barbecue had appeared in human life.In the Han Dynasty,barbecue was one of the cate in daily life.It can be seen from the existing Kitchen Portrait brick in various places that barbecue was very common in the life of the upper class,but it was quite rare for ordinary people.
