A Preliminary Study of Young Mao Zedong's Philosophical Thought

青年毛泽东在中国哲学和西方近代资产阶级哲学的影响下,寻找"大本大源",寻找社会发展的关键因素。因他选择吸收了各种理论中他认可的观点,故其早期哲学思想具有复杂、模糊而且不断变化的特点。青年毛泽东的哲学思想完成了从主观唯心主义、心物二元论到历史唯物主义和辩证唯物主义的转变。他的社会历史观也完成了从资产阶级改良主义到无产阶级马克思主义的转变。

Under the influence of Chinese philosophy and western modern bourgeois philosophy, young Mao Zedong searched for the universe ultimate truth and the key factors of social development. Because he chose to absorb the viewpoints in various theories which he accepted, his early philosophy has the characters of complexity, ambiguity and constant change. His philosophical thought has completed the transformation from the subjective idealism, mind-object dualism to historical materialism and dialectical materialism. His conception of society and history has also completed the transformation from bourgeois reformism to proletarian Marxism.
