享誉中外的齐鲁大学文理医三学院渊源及其名称演变,以往中国学界囿于或误读文献史料,一直流传着多种不实之说。事实上,齐鲁大学文理医三学院均渊源于登州文会馆,登州才是齐鲁大学发祥地;大学及所属各学院的名称,有一个较为复杂的发展演变过程,反映了近代教会大学随着中国社会内外局势的变化逐渐融入中国社会和文化的发展演变历程。

The parentage and names evolution of the three colleges of Arts, science and medicine of Qilu University, a renowned in China and foreign countries, have been misrepresented by Chinese scholars because documentary sources had been limited to or misread in the past. As a matter of fact, the three colleges of Arts, science and medicine of Qilu University originated from the Dengzhou College, and Dengzhou was the birthplace of Qilu University. The names of the University and its affiliated colleges had a more complicated process of development and evolution, which reflects the development and evolution of modern missionary universities integrating into Chinese society and culture gradually along with the changes in the situation inside and outside of China’s society.
