摘要
赴缅甸南坎集市进行消费是中国瑞丽市边民日常生活的一个重要组成部分。边民的跨境消费行为是中缅国境线划定之前形成的市场行为惯习。随着中国经济的高速发展,中国货物越来越多地被视为"缅甸货"而成为中国边民在缅甸南坎集市消费的主要商品。这一并不符合经济理性的跨境消费行为得以实现是以赋予发展滞后的缅甸以"传统"特色的移情为文化基础的。集市不一定具有整合周边村庄的功能,也不一定是连接国家与农村的枢纽,但集市在实现优化资源配置的同时却可能是文化的空间,是历史记忆的储存器。
Going to Namkhan Market in Burma to buy things is an important part of the daily life of the people living in border area of Ruili. Their cross-border consumption behavior was formed before the border delimitation between China and Burma. With the rapid development of Chinese economy,more and more Chinese goods are regarded as goods made in Burma and become the main commodities of consumption by Chinese cross-border villagers. This cross-border consumption behavior does not confirm to economic rationality. Its realization relies on the cultural empathy for the traditional characteristics of the backward Burma. The market does not necessarily has the function of integrating surrounding villages,nor can it be the hub to connect the country and the countryside,but it can optimize resource allocation and at the same time,becomes a cultural space and a storage of historical memory.
