岭南鳌鱼脊饰文化渊源探究

A Study on the Cultural Origin of the Cod Fish Ridge Ornamentsin Lingnan

鳌鱼脊饰造型优美,寓意吉祥,为岭南民间所喜闻乐见,这种小小的建筑构件已成为岭南民俗和人文性格的典型载体。鳌鱼与历史、民俗、古建,乃至上古神话都有缘分,对它们的研究解读却并不多。笔者试结合上古传说、历史渊源,民俗文化,梳理鳌鱼文化的演变脉络,并将其放在特定人文、社会情境下探究其地域特色。

Cod fish ridge ornament is very popular in the Lingnan folk for its beautiful shape and auspicious mean-ing. This little architectural component has become a typical embodiment of the lingnan folk customs and culture.Cod fish has a close tie with history,folk custom,ancient architecture,and even ancient mythology. So,The pres-ent author tries to combine the ancient legends,historical origins and folk culture to sort out the evolution of the cul-ture of the cod fish,and to explore its regional characteristics under the specific humanities and social situations.
