容县粤语“整”的语义、句法和语用分析

Semantic,Syntactic and Pragmatic Aanalysis of“Zheng”in Cantonese of Rongxian

"整"是容县粤语中常用的一个动词,它兼有动词性和形容词性,功能较为复杂。作为动词的"整",在别的方言中也是学者们关注的对象。笔者对"整"的两种功能和用法都分别进行了探讨,结果表明,容县粤语的动词"整"具有泛义特征,能带多种宾语,能组成某些固定结构;形容词"整"具有双音化,使用范围缩小的趋势。"整"语用上具有地域性。

＂Zheng＂is a common verb in Cantonese in Rongxian County. It has both verbal and adjective functions,and its functions are rather complicated. As a verb,＂Zheng＂is an object of concern to other scholars in other dia-lects. The two functions and usage of the＂Zheng＂are discussed. The results show that the verb＂Zheng＂of Rongx-ian County Cantonese has a general meaning,which can be followed by many kinds of object and can form certainfixed structure;the adjective＂Zheng＂has a double tone and the use range is narrowing. Pragmatically,＂Zheng＂isregional.
