According to Leslie Fiedler's view, pop-inclination forms a key feature of postmodernist literary works which provide entertainment and express political stands. They close the gap between high and low arts and bring readers ecstastic experiences for their spiritual solace in contemporary age. On such basis he proposes ecstasis-focusing criticism. Fiedler's remarkable elaboration on pop-inclination reminds us of the neglected feature of postmodemist literature.
