摘要
《理查二世》一剧再现了14世纪末英格兰民族主义的兴起,主要体现在两个方面:一、剧中人物对英格兰本土语言的强调;二、剧作家从人物的文化身份,英格兰的经济、文化和政治传统等多个维度对统治者理查二世进行了深入的刻画。莎士比亚深具历史意识和当下意识,透过戏剧这面棱镜,观众得以洞见理查二世统治时期的历史场景如何与伊丽莎白时代的英格兰民族精神发生关联。然而,莎翁的伟大之处不仅在于其汇通历史与时代之关切,更在于他以多声部的戏剧超越具体的民族和历史,展现了属于"一切时代"的伟大诗人的艺术才能。
Richard Ⅱ represents the rise of English nationalism at the end of the 14 th century,mainly in the following two aspects: one is the emphasis on the native language English and the other is the characterization of King Richard II in terms of his cultural identity,and the economic,cultural and political tradition of England. Shakespeare,with his great insight into English history and contemporary life,invests the play with the quality of a prism,through which readers are able to observe how the historical scene relates to the national spirit of the Elizabethan Age.
