New County Sage Governance: An Interpretative Perspective of “Fengqiao Experience”

在"枫桥经验"的转型和升级中,新乡贤治理具有重要的地位和作用。新时期以来,"枫桥经验"以新乡贤治理为内核,在弘扬新乡贤文化、提炼新乡贤精神、扶植新乡贤组织、创建新乡贤活动平台和规范机制等方面作出了许多创造性探索,积累了丰富的经验。新形势下,为进一步发挥新乡贤治理的作用,推动"枫桥经验"的内源性发展,应努力构建新乡贤引领下德法并举的治理机制,将政府的主导作用与社会的自主性紧密结合起来,将新乡贤的引领作用与民众的主体作用有机融合起来。

The new county sage governance plays an important role in the transformation and upgrading of “Fengqiao Experience”. Since the new era, the “Fengqiao Experience” with the new county sage governance as its core has made many innovative explorations and thus accumulated rich experience in carrying forward the new county sage culture, refining the new elite spirit, fostering the new county sage organization, and establishing new county sage activity platforms and standardizing mechanism. Under the new situation, in order to further explore the role of new county sages in the governance and promote the endogenous development of the “Fengqiao Experience”, we should strive to build a governance mechanism with both morality and law under the leadership of new county sages, closely combine the leading role of the government with social autonomy, and effectively integrate the leading role of new county sages with the main role of the people.
