鼻翼涂抹薄荷油对女性患者术后恶心呕吐发生率的影响

The effect of applying peppermint oil on the nasal wing on the postoperative nausea and vomiting in female patients

目的探讨鼻翼涂抹薄荷油对女性患者术后恶心呕吐(PONV)发生率的影响。方法选择首都医科大学宣武医院2017年8~10月在全身麻醉下行择期手术,术后返回麻醉恢复室(PACU)的女性患者130例,随机分为A、B两组,A组(58例)患者进入PACU后在两侧鼻翼涂抹薄荷油,B组(72例)患者不涂抹。记录两组患者的年龄、身高、体重、麻醉时间、手术时间、ASA分级、手术类型等信息。记录所有患者术后24 h内是否发生恶心呕吐。结果 A组有11例患者发生PONV,发生率为19.0%(11/58),B组有32例患者发生PONV,发生率为44.4%(32/72)。A组患者PONV的发生率明显低于B组患者(19.0%vs 44.4%,P=0.002)。结论鼻翼涂抹薄荷油可降低女性患者PONV的发生率。

Objective To investigate the effect of peppermint oil on the nasal wing on the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting （PONV） in female patients. Methods 130 female patients who underwent elective surgery under general anesthesia and returned to the anesthesia recovery room（PACU） after surgery in the Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University from August to October in 2017 were selected. The patients were randomly divided into group A and group B. Patients in group A（58 patients） were given peppermint oil on both sides of nose after entering PACU. The patients in group B（72 patients） were not treated with it. The patients＇ age, height, weight, anesthesia time, operation time, ASA classification, and type of surgery between the two groups were recorded. All patients were recorded for nausea and vomiting within 24 hours after surgery. Results The PONV occurred in 11 patients in group A, with the incidence of 19.0%（11/58）. And 32 patients in group B had PONV, with the incidence of 44.4%（32/72）. The incidence of PONV in group A was significantly lower than that in group B （19.0% vs 44.4%, P=0.002）. Conclusion Applying peppermint oil on the nose wing can reduce the incidence of PONV in female patients.
