In the aspect of popularization Zhang HenShui＇s novels and Yan＇an literature have inter- twined with each other in the aspects of absorbing traditional literature and national forms but they have great differences in literary concepts and methods of communication and the scope of the main acceptances. Zhang HenShui＇s novels are deeply influenced by the literary views of ＂leisure and interest＂ from traditional novels but Yan＇an literature accepted the theory of social function of literature. ＂Market＂ is the main mode of dissemination of ＂popularization＂ of Zhang HenShui＇ s novels while Yan＇ an literature mainly relies on the media ＂propaganda＂ to promote the popularization. The main audiences of Zhang HenShui＇s novels are citizens while the major receivers of Yan＇an literature are workers and preasants and soldiers
