摘要
基于问题的学习(PBL)是一种强调学生通过合作学习、理解和分析问题,探寻出解决方法的探究型教学模式。PBL在大学英语教学中的实践分为3个阶段:准备阶段、实施阶段和结束阶段。为期一学期的PBL实践结果表明,学生在文献查找、处理信息、交流信息、分析和解决问题、自主学习、批判性思维、PPT制作、用英语作口头报告等能力方面有明显改善,但在问题设计、小组分组和合作、课堂互动等方面存在一些不足,还需进一步改进。
Problem-based learning (PBL) is an exploratory teaching mode,which emphasizes students' understanding and analysis of questions to seek solutions through cooperation. The practice of PBL in col- lege English teaching is divided into three stages-preparation stage, implementation stage and ending stage. The PBL is applied for a period of one semester. The result shows that PBL is effective in improving students' ability of searching, processing and communicating of information, analyzing and solving ques- tions,as well as improving the ability of autonomous learning, the making of PPT, critical thinking and making oral presentation in English, etc. Meanwhile, some deficiencies in designing of questions, the group- ing and cooperation,classroom interaction need to be further bettered.
