关于翻译规范与翻译专业硕士教学的思考 被引量:14

Reflection on the translation norms and the Master of Translation and Interpretation(MTI) education

摘要 我国翻译专业硕士(MTI)教学目前虽然面广量大,但举步维艰,备受质疑。本文基于作者自身的翻译实践、翻译教学实践及翻译教学理论思考,通过分析当下我国的翻译专业硕士教学状况,指出了其中的症结性问题,探讨在翻译教学、尤其是翻译专业硕士教学中加强翻译规范教学的必要性。文章强调指出,翻译专业硕士应该坚持自身的应用型、专业性,坚持翻译人才培养这一基本目标,在翻译研究学科体系下设置符合翻译专业硕士这一阶段的翻译专业课程体系,避免翻译专业成为其它学科或专业的附庸。 Master of Translation and Interpretation( MTI) education in China is open to question,though prospering in some way. Based on the author's reflection upon his own translation practice,translation teaching and translation studies,this paper attempts to explore into the current MTI teaching in China. The author proposes that MTI education should draw attention to translation norms,and that MTI education should adhere to its applicative translation major orientation,aiming at training qualified translation personnel,and offering its curriculum in accordance with the discipline of Translation Studies. Moreover,the author argues that MTI teaching should be on guard against being the prey of other disciplines.
