ZHUANG Zi's philosophy of medicine: Body disease, mental disease and Tao

庄子的医学哲学主要体现在"道"与身病、心病的关联上。庄子认为阴阳二气的失和导致疾病产生,疾病的产生无非内外二因,外在环境的剧烈变化是外因,身体机能的衰弱与良好的心态被打破是内因。不良的心灵状态所导致的心病,是产生身体疾病的主要原因。虽然阴阳二气在体内的和谐流转时而遭受阻遏,但"道"太和万物、具有生生不息的精神永恒存在,把握到"道"的精神的体道者与"道"合一,所拥有的德性也摆脱了疾病所造成的烦恼。

ZHUANG Zi＇s philosophy of medicine is always embodied in the relation between ‘Tao＇ and body disease, mental disease. ZHUANG Zi believes that the disease is caused by disharmonious yin qi and yang qi, the occurrence of disease includes two reasons, one is external reason as environmental changes, one is internal reason as weak body function and broken mental state. Mental disease caused by unhealthy mental state is the main reason of physical disease. Although sometimes the harmony of yin qi and yang qi can be broken, but ‘Tao＇ spirit is eternal and continuous reproduction breed in an endless succession, once people comprehend ‘Tao＇ spirit and become harmony with ＇Tao＇, will get rid of the trouble caused by the disease.
