摘要
学生荣誉制度是美国高校学术诚信治理的传统模式,虽然在20世纪90年代"重新流行",但仍非主流模式,其促进学术诚信的有效性也颇受质疑。荣誉制度有效性是有限和有条件的,有赖于行政人员、教师和学生的共同努力。通过借鉴荣誉制度,我国部分高校试行免监考政策,但仍需着眼制度化,从荣誉制度的程序化处理模式以及内含的参与、自律、信任、责任与尊重等共同体精神出发,推进学术诚信治理的本土实践。
The student honor code, a traditional establishment in the American higher education system aiming at promoting academic integrity among college students, has been revived since the 1990 s. However, it is still not the mainstream institutional strategy to tackles academic dishonesty in the U.S. The effectiveness of honor code is not only limited but also conditioned on the continuous and joint efforts of administrators, faculty members and students on campus. Partially drawing on the honor code, several Chinese universities adopted an unproctored exam policy. For these universities, in comparison to implementing unproctored exams and requiring students' honor pledges, referring to the core elements of honor code(i.e., formal procedure to address dishonesty, involvement, trust, responsibility, respect and self-discipline)may bring about more profound benefits for establishing locally oriented integrity policies.
