摘要
写作声音是近20年来在二语写作领域不断引发关注的话题。本文批评性讨论写作声音研究中具有争议性的三个问题,即概念界定、分类与量化、可教性,结合实证研究探析争议根源,并阐述声音研究的发展方向。文章支持有关写作声音兼具个体性、社会性和对话性根本特质的思考,强调二语写作声音的研究设计与教学应凸显声音的多重属性。
Voice has attracted growing attention in the field of second language writing over the past 20 years. Based on the previous empirical studies, this paper provides a critical analysis of three major controversies in the research on voice, including the conceptualization, categorization and quantification, and teachability of voice. It points out the roots of the controversies, and indicates the future directions of the research. The paper endorses an understanding of voice as personal, social and dialogic in both second language writing research and pedagogy.
