摘要
通过运用问卷调查及访谈法,对山西省五所本科院校外语教师在专业发展思想、专业发展知识、专业发展能力以及专业发展现状四个方面的情况进行了实证研究。结果表明:山西省高校外语教师专业发展思想完善,但自主发展意识不强;专业发展知识方面牢固掌握教育理论知识及本学科知识,但对跨学科知识掌握较差;专业发展能力方面科研能力较为薄弱;缺乏进修机会、考评及晋升制度的不合理制约其专业发展。今后应从增强外语教师自主发展意识、改善高校外语教师知识结构、提高高校外语教师科研能力、减少专业发展制约因素等方面提高其专业发展水平。
Questionnaire and interview are employed in five universities in Shanxi province to explore the foreign language teachers' professional development on four aspects:ideology,knowledge,capacity and present situation.The results show that most teachers have solid theoretical foundations yet less awareness of self-development;solid professional knowledge yet deficiency in interdisciplinary knowledge.In addition,relatively weak capacity of doing scientific research has also been noticed in the study.Meanwhile lack of opportunities for further study and current unreasonable systems on assessment and promotion have unfavorable influence on teachers' professional developments.Based on the study,the emphasis of encouraging professional development should be put on reinforcing the self-development consciousness,recombining the knowledge structures,improving the ability of conducting scientific research and reducing the restrictive factors.
