Alexander Hamilton, an important person among the American Founding fathers, was known for his pro British and anti French tendency. The emergence of his pro British and anti French tendency can be attributed to complicated reasons. The formation of the pro British tendency not only was related to Hamiltonrs inherent views on Britain, but also was closely associated with his opinions on national interest. The formation of the anti French tendency was largely due to the influence of the French Revolution. Hamiltonrs pro British and anti French tendency was deeply rooted in his thoughts and became an important part of his diplomatic philosophy, which had exerted a great influence on A merican early diplomacy.
