山西大同古城保护与修复工程引发的诸多争议,反映了社会各界对遗产保护与再利用的不同理解。文章主要针对大同古城墙主墙体的修复与三面小城墙体的保护这两个方面进行梳理,阐释大同古城墙保护与修复的实践遵循了文物修复"修旧如旧"的基本原则,对研究我国文化遗产保护有着重要意义。

The practice of protecting and repairing the ancientcity walls should be followed by the basic principle of restoration of old and old. Exploring theprotection process of Datong city walls is of great significance for the study of cultural heritageprotection in China.
