Practice of Increasing Scrap Ratio for Steelmaking in Converter

摘要 鞍钢集团朝阳钢铁有限公司炼钢厂为了保证转炉钢产量,采取了降低转炉造渣材料消耗、降低转炉出钢温度、提高铁水"一罐制"比例等措施。采取措施后,转炉废钢比由13.0%提高到21.5%,铁水单耗降低了60 kg/t。实践表明,当转炉铁水单耗为880 kg/t时,炼钢利润最佳。 In order to guarantee the output of liquid steel during steelmaking in converter, such measures as reducing the eonsumption of the materials for preparing slag, dropping the tem- perature of liquid steel tapping from the converter, increasing the ratio of using only "one ladle" for containing hot metal. After that the scrap ratio for steelmaking in converter was increased to 21.5% from 13.0% and the consumption of hot metal was reduced by 60 kg per tone. It was then concluded that the profits aehieved in steelmaking process were the highest when the consumption of hot metal was 880 kg per tone.
