Literary Criticism as Political Mobilization

中国马克思主义强调文学批评的政治动员功能,主要从文学批评的政治标准、批评主体的思想政治立场和批评方法来实现。强调批评的政治优先性,旨在确定文艺的基本方向及其政治导向;强调文艺工作者的思想改造,试图让文艺工作者能从政治情感上认同中国马克思主义,并自觉地立足于无产阶级的立场来服务于中国革命和社会主义建设;注重对现实"政治性"的设定,是因为"现实"熔铸了中国马克思主义的哲学观、价值观和方法论,特别是加强了文学与现实的关联,有助于发挥文学及文学批评的政治动员功能。

Chinese Marxism emphasizes the function of political mobilization of literary criticism, which is mainly realized by the political standards of literary criticism, the ideological and political standpoints of critics and the critical methods. It stresses the political priority of literary criticism, to determine the basic direction of literature and art and its political orientation. It lays stress on the ideological transformation of the literary and art workers, trying to make them identify with Chinese Marxism from the political and emotional point of view, and consciously serve the Chinese revolution and socialist construction from the prole- tarian standpoint. And it attaches importance to the setting of ＂political nature＂ of reality, due to the fact that ＂reality＂ has fused the philosophy, values and methodology of Chinese Marxism, especially strengthened the connection between literature and reality, and helped to bring into play the political mobilization function of literature and literary criticism.
