In the novel,a series of artistic images of Monarch and Minister successfully reflect the profound connotation of helping the people and saving the people in the Confucian culture, which shows the charm of the Confucian culture. Some of the characters in the books have real personages in history complemented by exaggerated excavation while other characters in the books do not exist in history and need to be fabricated, which shows the author＇s ability to interpret and reconstruct Confucian culture in writing, the author＇s efforts to inherit and carry forward traditional Confucianism and his sincere but simple humanistic and domestic feelings. Er Yuehe admires such ideal characteristics ： having the most extensive knowledge of ancient and modem times, realizing the ideal politics, having no fear of the power.
