In the course of the connotation development of modern education and teaching practice,the driving force of the new multimedia technology is becoming more and more important. The urgent demand for quality education,the importance of aesthetic education in sports dance education,the diversification of content in physical education and the help of new multimedia technology are all the main pulses to promote the rapid development of sports dance teaching. This paper explores the application of new multimedia technology in sports dance teaching,and points out its technological guidance mode and the elements of teachers＇ role,so as to achieve the advantage of technology in education and teaching.
