In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, buliding a contingent of high-quality cadres is required for achieving “The Two Centenary Goals” and for building a moderately prosperous society and a strong socialist modernization country in an all-round way. Since the 18th national congress of the communist party of China （CPC）, Xi Jinping has been attaching great importance to building a contingent of leading cadres. In today’s complex development situation at home and abroad, Xi Jinping puts forward the thought of constructing leading cadres in a new era in accordance with the Chinese dream of achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The consistent core content of the “good cadre” has become an important part of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
