“Heihe City's Natural and Civilized Journey of a Thousand Miles” and the Discovery of Xinkailing Rock Paintings

黑龙江中上游自古为民族迁徙、生活的重要地域及通道,遗留了大量人类生活遗迹,其中古人类的岩画在大兴安岭区域有大量发现,在小兴安岭中国一侧未见。于黑河市所发现的新开岭岩画填补了这一研究空白,专家确定,岩画为祭祀所用,是欧亚大陆彩绘岩画沿黑龙江上游流域向亚洲东部移动和迁徙的有力证据。

The middle and upper reaches of Heilongjiang have been the important area and channel for ethnic migration and living since ancient times, leaving many remains of human life. Among them, a great deal of the rock paintings by the ancient people have been found in the greater Khingan area, but are rarely seen along the side of lesser Khingan Mountains. The discovery of Xinkailing rock paintings in Heihe City flls the gap in this research. It is specifed by experts that rock paintings are used for sacrifcial rituals and that they show strong evidence that the painted rock paintings of the Eurasia move along the upper reaches of the Heilongjiang River to the eastern part of Asia.
