摘要
智慧城市已成为国内外研究的热点领域,随着我国发展,智慧城市建设也已成为我国新型城镇化建设中的重要环节,它是城市发展的新思路和新途径,涉及工作、生活、学习等多个领域。人才是智慧城市建设的基础,传统的高校人才培养模式已经很难满足智慧城市对于人才的需求,而高校英语教学模式的转变在智慧城市建设背景下成为必然趋势。文章在智慧城市建设背景下,探讨了高校英语教学现状及存在问题,结合智慧城市内涵与对人才的需求,对高校英语教学模式进行了新探索,对人才培养提出了新思路,以期高校人才培养能切实助力智慧城市建设长远发展。
Smart city is now a hot research area worldwide.Along with China＇s rapid national development,the construction of smart cities has become an important link in the development of new urbanization.Smart city is also anew idea and new path for the development of cities that involves many fields like working, living and studying.Talented people are the foundation of developingsmart cities,but traditional students＇cultivation modes in universities can hardly satisfysmart cities＇need for talented people and the trend of changing English teaching modes in universities is inevitable.This paper explored the current state and problems of English teaching in universities under the background of smart city and proposed new teaching idea topromote the cultivation of more talented people that can help the development of smart cities.
