等效论视角下壮族嘹歌文化负载词英译策略研究——以《平果壮族嘹歌·三月歌篇》为例

The Translation Strategies of Culturally Loaded Word of Zhuang Songs from the Perspective of Equivalent Effect:A Case Study on Liao Songs of Pingguo Zhuang Songs of March

尤金·奈达的等效翻译理论强调译文对接受者的效果要与原著对原文读者的效果对等,而文化负载词承载着特定民族文化信息,跨文化翻译时难免会有文化信息损失。依据尤金·奈达等效翻译理论及其对文化的分类,梳理了《三月歌篇》中的五类文化负载词并分析其英译本中文化负载词英译使用的策略。研究发现,英译中主要采用音译加注、直译加注和意译,辅之以直译、音译与直译加注结合、意译加注、省略这七类翻译技巧,能更有效地传递嘹歌中蕴含的深厚壮族精神文化;通过注释的形式补充必要的文化信息,使得译文更加清晰,为译入语读者创造贴近原著读者的文化体验,利于民族典籍有效的对外推介。

The equivalent translation theory,proposed by Eugene Nida emphasizes that the effects of the recipient to the translation shall be equivalent with the original readers to the original text.However,it is inevitably that the translation of culturally loaded word,which carries specific national cultural information,would be lost during cross-cultural translation.Through teasing out the translation strategies to five aspects culturally loaded word in Liao Songs of Pingguo Zhuang Songs of March from the perspective of equivalent theory according to Nida,this paper has the followed findings.The translation mainly uses three strategies,namely transliteration with annotation,literal translation with annotation and free translation.And the other four strategies,literal translation,transliteration combined with literal translation with annotation,free translation with annotation and omit translation works as complement.In virtue of annotation to supplement irreducible cultural information,the translation gets more clear and fluent,which press the reader of translation close to the original readers and conduces to promoting the national classics.
