析《榆树下的欲望》中的“陌生化”手法

摘要 在《榆树下的欲望》中,奥尼尔巧妙地运用了"陌生化"的艺术手法,把读者司空见惯的语言和人物形象转变成为新奇独特的语言和人物形象,为读者呈现了一个新奇可感的陌生的文学世界。"陌生化"的艺术手法不仅提高了读者对该剧的感知和审美的难度与长度,也深化了该剧的欲望和悲剧主题。 Through analyzing the “defamiliarization” language and characters in Desire under the Elms , it can be found that O’Neil presents a defamiliarized world of strangeness and perceptibility to readers. By skillfully employing the “defamiliarization” artistic technique, O’Neil has successfully transformed the language and characters that are familiar to readers into the language and characters that are unfamiliar to them. The “defamiliarization” artistic technique not only enhances the difficulty and length of readers’ perceptibility and appreciation of the play, but also deepens its themes of desire and tragedy.
