语境理论在诗歌翻译中的实践

Application of Register Theory in the Poetry Translation

诗歌翻译经常遇到如何保持原诗风格和准确选词达意的挑战。以文艺复兴时期的诗作为素材,运用韩礼德的"语域"理论进行实证研究。依据语场、语旨、语式三大要素探讨诗歌翻译中的词汇意义的舍取以及原诗风格的再现。实践证明,该理论能够有效指导诗歌翻译,避免误译或错译。

Poem translation is often faced with the challenge of keeping the original style and precise choice of words to convey the original meaning. Some poems in Renaissance are taken as translation examples? from the perspective of Halliday^s Register Theory in linguistics. On the basis of field， tenor and mode? word choice and the reappearance of the style of the original poems are explored in the present stud-y. It is proved that Register Theory can be of a guide to poetry translation to avoid mistranslation or misin-terpretation.
