75名儿童伤害发生及其影响因素的调查分析

Investigation on Injury Occurrence and the Related Factors in 75 Children

目的了解云南三地农村儿童伤害情况,为制定针对性的防护措施提供依据,以减少和控制云南农村儿童伤害事件的发生。方法采用目的抽样方法,在楚雄州武定县发窝乡、双河镇以及马金铺中卫街道三个农村地区抽取61位儿童家长进行面对面调查其子女(共计75名,年龄段为0～18岁)的伤害事件发生情况。结果过去1年内儿童伤害发生率16.0%,最常见的伤害为跌伤,占75.0%,其次是烧烫伤、锐器伤、动物咬伤,各占8.3%,伤害多发季节为夏季,多发地点为家中和学校。有66.7%家长表示经常担心孩子受伤,有88.0%的家长表示经常给孩子进行安全教育,但家长接受安全教育渠道大多局限于学校。结论该地区家长对儿童伤害了解途径局限,对儿童的安全比较担心,相关部门及儿童家长应多方面进行合作,针对性开展农村儿童伤害的干预。

Objective To investigate epidemiological characteristics of injuries among children from three rural areas in Yunnan Province, providing evidence for developing targeted preventive measures and reducing the incidence of children injuries in rural Yunnan. Methods 61 parents of 75 children aged from 0 to 18 years old were selected from Fawo Village of Wuding County, Shuanghe County and Majinpu Zhongwei District of Chuxiong autonomous prefecture through purpose sampling and face-to-face interviews were conducted. Results The injury incidence of children was 16.0% in the past year. Among these injuries, the most common injury cause was falls, accounting for 75.0%. Burns and scalds, sharp instruments or animal bites together accounted for 8.3% of injuries. Injuries often occurred in summer. Home and school were the most common occurrence places of injuries. There are 66.7% of parents often worry that their children were injured, 88.0% of parents reported often providing safety education to their children, but their source of receiving safety knowledge was primarily limited to schools. Conclusions The channel of obtaining knowledge on child injury prevention was limited for parents. The parents often worry about the safety of their children. Relevant governmental departments and the parents should cooperate each other to implement targeted intervention to reduce children injuries in rural areas through multiple ways.
