摘要
海外留学的低龄化催化了低龄雅思学习者的考试热潮。面对低龄雅思学习者词汇量小、文化背景知识单薄和阅读文体体裁单一的问题,笔者在图式理论指导下结合教学实践,摆脱传统的"自上而下阅读模式"或"自下而上阅读模式",将两者有机结合,就如何丰富学习者的语言图式、内容图式和形式图式提出了一定的应对之策。
The increasing trend of learning abroad for youngerstudents has boosted more of them to sit for IELTS. However,small vocabulary, limited knowledge of Western history and liter-ature, and monotonous reading genre are intrinsic problems formost young IELTS learners. Under the guidance of the schematheory and the help of teaching experience, the writer tries tocombine two traditional reading modes, i.e. the bottom-up modeand the bottom-down mode, to enrich learners’linguisticschema, content schema and formal schema.
