试论宋代语言学在语言学史上的时代归属问题

Talking about the age attribution of linguistics in the history of linguistics in song dynasty

在中国古代语言学史的研究中,宋代语言学应划为唐宋一段,抑或宋元明一段,历来颇有争议。有学者将宋代划入宋元明时代,有其思想史根源。语言学史的研究应从语言学研究的实际出发,而不应受经学史、思想史观点的影响。若立足于传统语文学,宋代语言学与唐代语言学具有高度一致性。若以宋代理学家朱熹的训诂实践为例,亦可证明宋代语言学与唐代语言学的继承关系。因此应将唐宋时期划为中国语言学史的一个历史时期。

In the study of the history of ancient Chinese linguistics,it has always been controversial whether the linguistics of the Song dynasty should be divided into the Tang and Song Dynasties or the Song,Yuan and Ming Dynasties.Some scholars put the Song Dynasty into the Song Yuan and Ming Dynasties,which has its ideological history origin.The study of the history of linguistics should start from the actual study of linguistics and should not be influenced by the view of the history of classics and the history of thought.If it is based on traditional Chinese literature,the linguistics of Song Dynasty is highly consistent with that of Tang Dynasty.Taking the exegesis practice of Zhu xi,a Confucian scholar in the Song Dynasty,as an example,it can also prove the inheritance relationship between ht linguistics of the Song Dynasty and linguistics of he Tang Dynasty.Therefore,the Tang and Song dynasties should be classified as a historical period in the history of Chinese linguistics.
