Vocabulary is an important criterion to test a learner＇s ability. To enlarge one＇s vocabulary, oneneeds to take an appropriate attitude and follow the principle of memory and combine vocabulary with sen-tences and passages as well as a set of effective learning strategies. Language learning always goes in aspecific environment including social context, characteristics, materials （ contents, objectives and proce-dures, etc.） , process （ strategies, skills and cognitive process） and outcome evaluation. If a learner canmake full use of every factor, he will accomplish the most.
