Objective: To investigate the value of early detection of plasma associated phospholipase A2 in patients with ischemic stroke. Methods: 32 cases of ischemic stroke patients in a hospital was selected as the study group, 32 healthy cases were selected for routine physical examination in a hospital as the control subjects, as control group. Two groups were treated with plasma associated phospholipase A2 detection, comparatively analyzed the test results. Results: The total cholesterol, three triglyceride, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol and plasma associated phospholipase A2 levels of the study group were significantly higher than the control group, comparative differences were significant ( P 〈0.05). Patients with acute ischemic stroke of the plasma associated phospholipase A2 levels were significantly higher than that of the recovery period and sequelae period, recovery period of plasma associated phospholipase A2 levels were significantly higher than that of sequelae, comparative differences were significant ( P 〈0.05). Conclusion: Plasma phospholipase A2 levels in patients with ischemic stroke are significantly increase, and plasma associated phospholipase A2 testing at early stage can provide a reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
