In Q2 of 2018, Chinese smartphones took held four out of five positions for top market share in India, accounting for nearly two-thirds of the entire market.Data from market research firm, Counterpoint Research, shows that Xiaomi,vivo, OPPO and Huawei have 28%, 12%, 10% and 3% of the market share respectively.After fiercely taking over the Chinese domestic market, the same story is once again playing out for these smartphone manufacturers in India. Aside from Apple and Samsung, others have continued to lose ground. These phones all have the same costs and technological advantages. Is there an unavoidable confrontation or mutual aid?
