The aluminium silicate refractorg fibre behaves high temperature resisting, good chemical stability and low confficient of heat conductivity. By the use of aluminium silicate refractory fibre as the furnace lining for the electric resistance furnace in the non-ferrous foundry, time for step-up furnace temperature could be shortened, temperature of furnace wall lowered and energy consumption reduced.
