Clinical proven cases of dialectical tongue treatment from heart by professor Guo Liping

舌疾是一种以舌干、舌痛、舌痿、舌纵等为主要临床表现的发生在舌部的疾病。中医认为"舌为心之苗",心和舌的生理、病理关系密切,从舌体的色泽、濡润、灵活度以及语言和味觉等方面,可以反映心主血脉的功能和气血运行情况,从而反映心的病变。其临床应用主要体现在以下几方面:由舌疗心,如舌下给药治疗冠心病、由舌象判断心功能、由舌象救治急性心梗患者等;由舌疗不寐,如通过观察舌上红点瘀点判断夜寐情况、通过舌象辨治不寐等;由心疗舌,如从心脾论治舌痛、口舌溃疡等。同时,中医"心-舌"的对应关系也可以从"未病先防"和"既病防变"两个方面指导舌疾的预防和治疗。郭利平教授应用"心-舌"的中医理论从心论治舌疾亦每获良效。

Tongue disease is a disease that occurs in the tongue with the main clinical manifestations such as dry tongue,tongue pain,tongue flaccid,tongue spasm and so on. TCM holds that＂The tongue is the seedling of the heart＂. The physiological and pathological relationship between the heart and the tongue is closed. From the color,the moistening,the activity,the speaking and tasting of the tongue,it can reflect the function of the heart on blood and vessel and reflect the circulation of Qi and blood,thus reflecting the heart diseases. Its clinical application is mainly reflected in the following aspects： treat the heart from the tongue,such as sublingual medication in the treatment of coronary heart disease,from the tongue function to judge the heart function,and from tongue to treat the patients with acute myocardial infarction; the treatment of insomnia by observing the tongue,such as the observation of the red spot on the tongue can be used to judge the status of night-sleeping,through the tongue to cure insomnia; treat the tongue from the heart,such as from the heart and spleen to treat tongue pain,tongue ulcers and so on. At the same time,the corresponding relationship of＂heart-tongue＂in TCM can guide the prevention and treatment of tongue diseases from the two aspects of＂prevention before disease＂and＂prevention from disease＂. Professor Guo Li-ping applied the＂heart-tongue＂theory of traditional Chinese medicine to treat the disease of the tongue from the heart and also obtained good clinical efficacy,and a proven case attached in order to expand the clinician＇s thinking on differentiation and treatment of tongue disease.
