摘要
《国闻周报》是民国时期著名新闻周刊。总编辑胡政之的编辑思想体现为:重视新闻报道,供史料之保存;保存中国民意,作迷途之指南;注重学术文章,兼顾文艺作品;配合运用图文,增加新闻照片;改良版面编辑,报告战时动态;满足读者兴趣,吸纳受众意见。在他的带领下,《国闻周报》成为发行量较大、影响深远的周刊。
National News Weekly was a famous weekly publication during the Republican period. The editing philosophy of editor - in - chief Hu Zhengzhi was embodied in ： valuing news reporting, preserving historical materials; preserving the Chinese public will, acting as a compass for the lost; emphasizing aca- demic articles along with artistic works ; coordinating the use of images, increasing news photography ; improving the editing of page layout, reporting on wartime developments; satisfying the interests of readers, absorbing audience opinions. Under his leadership, National News Weekly became a weekly publication of comparatively large circulation and farreaching influence.
