A Summary of the Research on College English Flipped Classroom

本文从翻转课堂的内涵、起源、发展以及翻转课堂在大学英语教学中的应用等方面综述翻转课堂模式在国内的应用情况,发现对于翻转课堂的研究多使用质性研究方法,对翻转课堂的概念、形式、过程以及对比研究传统课堂的较多,较少研究使用量化或者混合性方法,对于大学英语翻转课堂的师生互动和生生互动的实证研究较少。

This paper reviews the application of flipped classroom mode in China from the connotation, origin, development of flipping classroom and the application of flipped classroom in college English teaching. It is found that the research on flipped classroom uses qualitative research method and the concept of flipped classroom. There are more traditional classrooms in form, process, and comparative studies. Less research uses quantitative or mixed methods. There are few empirical studies on teacher-student interaction and interaction in college English flipped classroom.
