Study on the use of “Quotations” in Milan Kundera's Novels

"引用"是米兰·昆德拉小说叙事中一个十分突出的修辞现象,但迄今为止尚未引起学界的关注。通过大量恰到好处的"引用",昆氏将希腊神话、圣经故事、文学作品和名人轶事完美地融入到自己的文学语境中,既凸显了叙事的主题、映射了人物的关系、彰显了人物的性格,也深化了小说的文化与哲学意义。以昆氏小说中的"引用"为研究视阈,分析它们的来源与目的,能为今后的研究者提供新的思路与启示。

Adduction is a very important rhetoric device used in Milan Kundera＇s novels. Regrettably, it has not attracted enough attention in the academic circle up till now. Through the use of citations, Kundera merged Greek mythology, biblical stories, literary works and celebrity anecdotes into his novel creation so as to highlight the themes, show the relationship between different characters and deepen the cultural and philosophical significance as well. Analyzing the sources and purposes of the adduction in Kundera＇s novels will provide us with new ideas for future study.
