Historical Formula and Development Reality of the Relationship between Malaysia and North Korea

朝鲜与马来西亚以"不结盟运动"为契机开始接触,并建立外交关系。至金正男遇刺前夕,两国关系稳步而谨慎地向前推进。但受国际制裁影响,马来西亚对朝关系备受压力。金正男在吉隆坡被刺,两国爆发激烈的外交冲突,关系由此转冷。然而,随着近期半岛局势不断缓和,马来西亚与朝鲜交好的国际压力明显减轻,两国关系改善或许重现曙光。

North Korea and Malaysia started their contacts from the ＂ Non-Aligned Movement＂ and established diplomatic relations. Until the eve of the assassination of Kim Jong Nam,the relations between the two countries had proceeded steadily and cautiously. However,under the influence of international sanctions,Malaysia＇s relations with North Korea are under pressure,and since Kim Jong Nam was stabbed in Kuala Lumpur,fierce diplomatic conflicts of the two countries broke out and their relationship turned cold. But with the recent easing of the situation on the Xianyang Peninsula,international pressure from Malaysia and North Korea has clearly eased,and the improvement in the relations between the two countries may reappear.
