王肯搜集整理的鄂伦春文献,是他在1956年作为东北师范大学鄂伦春调查组一员,对鄂伦春民间文化首次开掘的第一手文献资料,包括民俗、宗教、传说、民歌等。王肯以文化人类学者所具有的多种能力,凭借文字、曲谱、速写、照片的多种手段,以鄂伦春系列报告、鄂伦春民歌、鄂伦春传说等类别,立体而真实地记录了承载在鄂伦春人生命里并以口头流传延续的民族文化。这些鄂伦春文献,有部分内容收录在《1956鄂伦春手记》中,全部内容计划收录在即将出版的《王肯全集》里。

The documents of Elunchun were the first-hand information on Elunchun folk culture, including customs,religions,legends, folk songs, etc. They were compliey by Wang Ken when he was a member of the Elunchun investigation group of NENU. Wang,with his varioius capacilities of anthropologists, reported the folk culture through words,melodies,skeches and photos,which exists in the blood of the peple of Elunchun,and is passed down through oral circulation. The documents are in the form of series reports,folk songs and legends,parts of which are embodied in the ＂The Notes on Elunchun in 1956＂,and all of them are planned to be included in ＂The Complete Works of Wang Ken＂,which is going to be published soon.
