评我国介入医学启蒙——纪念林贵、刘子江教授

On the enlightenment pioneers of interventional medicine in China —in memory of Professor Gui Lin and Professor Zijiang Liu

1964年,美国放射科医师Charles Dotter为一位82岁女性成功地用同轴导管扩张法治愈了下肢动脉狭窄,被公认为介入放射学事业的创立。介入放射学技术是在20世纪70年代后期引进中国大陆。1979年,林贵等发表《选择性血管造影诊断原发性肝癌》一文,标志着我国介入放射学起步。林贵教授在20世纪80年代初就对物理和化学消融、肿瘤栓塞作了开拓性研究。与此同时,刘子江教授开办介入放射学习班,为全国各地培训了大批介入医师,推动了全国性介入工作迅速发展。1986年,全国首届介入放射学术大会在潍坊市召开。1990年,介入放射学分会在第二届全国介入放射学术大会上成立。林贵教授还指导和协助程永德教授创办了《介入放射学杂志》。此外,时任全国放射学会主任委员的刘玉清院士,也对中国介入放射学事业发展和介入临床科室建立起到了很大的推动作用。我们应当铭记历史,心怀感恩,把中国介入放射学事业做得更好。

In 1964, Charles Dotter, an American radiologist, successfully cured a 82-year-old female patient with arterial stenosis of lower extremity by using co-axial catheter dilation method, which has been recognized as the establishment of the interventional radiology. Interventional radiology technique was introduced into mainland of China in the late 1970 s. In 1979, Professor Gui Lin and others published an academic article entitled 《Selective Angiography in the Diagnosis of Primary Hepatocellular Carcinoma 》 in China, and this article marked the beginning of interventional radiology in China. As early as the beginning of the 1980 s, Professor Gui Lin made a pioneering study on the physical and chemical ablation as well as the percutaneous arterial embolization therapy for the treatment of tumors. At the same time, Professor Zijiang Liu conducted the training programs of interventional radiology, and a large number of interventional physicians throughout the country got professional training, which effectively promoted the rapid and extensive development of interventional radiology in whole China. In 1986, the First National Conference on Interventional Radiology was held in Weifang City, Shandong Province, China. In 1990, the Chinese Society of Interventional Radiology was formally founded at the Second National Conference on Interventional Radiology. What is more memorable is that Professor Gui Lin passionately and cordially directed and assisted Professor Yongde Cheng to establish the 《Journal of Interventional Radiology》. In addition, academician Yuqing Liu, who was chairman of the National Radiology Society and the academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering at that time, played a great role in promoting the development of interventional radiology and the establishment of interventional clinical department in China. All the contributions made by our predecessors are worth remembering forever, and surely we will continue to work hard to make more contributions to the development of interventional radiology in China.
