Experience of ZOU Yanqin in Treating Henoch-Schonlein Purpura Nephritis

邹燕勤教授认为,过敏性紫癜性肾炎以肾虚为本,风、湿、热、瘀为标。治疗上从治风、治血、治湿入手,清热之法贯穿其中,以泄其标实,补肺健脾益肾以培本固元。重视清利咽喉,以清疏水之上源,使肺之宣肃功能恢复,水道通调,湿热得除,则下焦得以通利,以奏清上达下、清源洁流之功。

Professor ZOU Yanqin believes that the root cause of henoch-schonlein purpura nephritis is kidney deficiency,and the other factors like wind,dampness,heat and stasis are manifestations. Treatment should be based on wind,blood,and dampness with the method of heat removal throughout the treatment,which can be used to disperse exterior excess,to strengthen the original energy by tonifying the lung,invigorating the spleen and boosting the kidney. Treatment should focus on clearing pharynx in order to clearing upper body which is away from water,and to recover the pulmonary function of diffusion,dispersion,purification,to free and regulate the waterways,to eliminate heat-damp,and finally clear the lower jiao.
