The spiritual impetus is relative to the material impetus, and it is one of the important driving forces to promote the development of human society. The important function of theoretical education is to provide strong spir- itual impetus support for the development of human society. Chinese Communist Party in Yan＇ an period has been able to achieve success, one of the important reason is closely related to the strong spiritual impetus support provided by college education of Marxist theory. It is of important realistic enlightenment for the contemporary college ed- ucation of Marxist theory to dig up the inherent knowledge and moral force of spirit impetus value.
