Higher education,especially medical education play an significant role in the development of our society. China＇s medical education is facing huge opportunities and challenges. Through making a contrastive analysis of the medical education history and exploring the advantages and disadvantages of main medical education models,a new medical education model named holistic integrative medical education has brought out, which will lead us to the future development direction of international medical education.
