毕来德与于连围绕汉学之争的述评及思考

Commentary on the Debate of Sinology between Jean-Francois Billeter and Francois Jullien

瑞士汉学家毕来德与法国哲学一汉学家弗朗索瓦·于连因对汉学及中国思想的理解方法不同而起笔战，遂引发中、法学界空前激烈的讨论。中国国内对毕来德《驳于连》一书有过讨论，本文在此基础上补充了于连的回应和法国学者的相关评论，试图对两人的学术分歧点做出更加清晰的梳理，从宏观角度对这场汉学之争进行更为全面的思考。

Jean-Francois Billeter, renowned Swiss sinologist, in his pamphlet entitled Contre Francois Jullien, reproached Jullien the French philosopher and sinologist for idealizing and instrumentalizing China, which was replied by Jullien in Chemin faisant, connaitre la Chine, relancer la philosophie. Their controversy led to heated discussions in the field of both sinology and philosophy, in China, as well as in France and Europe. In addition to Billeter＇ s opposition to Jullien, this article, emphasizing on Jullien＇ s riposte and comments of French intellectuals in their collection of essays, attempts to give a comprehensive analysis of the debate between Billeter and Jullien.
