On the Philosophical Basis of Philosophy for Children

摘要 "何谓儿童"、"何谓哲学"以及"何谓教育",这些追问与寻求是儿童哲学课的哲学基础。儿童哲学课应当围绕"儿童的哲学"来展开,使"儿童的哲学"按其本性在儿童发展的内在时间(即儿童的自然时间而非机械钟的时间)里从容而充分地展开。儿童哲学课应当面向儿童的整个世界、面向儿童的全部生活,应当允许和鼓励儿童以其"一百种语言"来"做哲学"。如果儿童哲学课合理地解决了以上问题,那么,它就可以帮助儿童在思与诗的道路上充分展开其天性、天赋、天命,它便可望成为那些谋求儿童整全发展的其它课程的楷模。 The quest for "what is child", "what is philosophy" and "what is education" is the philosophical base of philosophy for children. Philosophy for children should be carried out around "children's philosophies", so that "children's philosophies" should be carried out in a leisurely manner according to the inner time of the development of children (that is, the time of children's natural time, not the time of the mechanical clock). Philosophy for children should be oriented to the whole world of children and the whole life of children as well. It should allow and encourage children to "do philosophy" in their "one hundred languages". If philosophy for children could solves these problems reasonably, it can help children, as fully as possible, develop their nature, gift, and the mandate of heaven on the path of thinking and poetry, and it would become a model for many courses that seek children's full development.
