覃子豪赴台时间考与集外诗文四篇

A Research on the Time of Qin Zihao's First Visit to Taiwan and His Four Poems

笔者在1947年3月的《联合晚报》上发现台湾诗人覃子豪四篇佚作:诗歌《雾河》与《雨天的村庄》、散文《动荡中的台湾——台湾印象回忆》与《文化统制在台湾》。这四篇作品未收录于《覃子豪全集》,也未见有研究者提及,故具备较重要的史料价值。特别是与台湾有关的两篇佚文为考证覃子豪第一次赴台的时间及文化活动提供了重要线索。现有资料多认为覃子豪于1947年赴台,而从佚文中显示的行程推算,覃子豪早于1945年12月7日赴台,打算创办《太平洋报》台湾分版。同时,这两篇佚文对陈仪接收初期的台湾,从经济政策到文化统制、从报刊出版到乡村教育、从地方领袖的认知到普通民众的生活等,都有深入而生动的描述,为考察台湾光复之初的政治、经济、文化以及台胞生活等情形提供了丰富信息。

In March 1947, the author found four articles by Qin Zihao, a famous Taiwan Residents poet, in the United Evening Post： the poems ＂The Fog River＂, ＂The villages in the Rainy Days＂ and the essays ＂Taiwan in Turmoil - Impression memory of Taiwan＂ and ＂Cultural Control in Taiwan＂ which are not included in his complete works nor have they been mentioned by researchers but have very important historical value. Especially the last two lost articles about Taiwan provide important clues for us to make textual research of the time and his cultural activities in his first visit to Taiwan. Most of the available data suggest that Qin went to Taiwan in 1947. However, based on the itinerary mentioned in his lost works we can learn that Qin Zihao went to Taiwan as early as December 7, 1945 and intended to start the Taiwan edition of the Pacific Dally. Meanwhile, the two essays give a deep and vivid description of what it was like in the early days of Taiwan taken over by Chen Yi, from economic policy to cultural control, from the publication of newspapers and periodicals to rural education, from the cognition of local leaders to ordinary people＇s life and provide abundant information for investigating the polities, economy, culture and the life of Taiwan compatriots in the early days of the restoration of Taiwan.
