The research and application of big data is gradually infiltrating our study life and education management. It seems that we have changed our mode of working and way of thinking. Based on the application of big data technology, it analyzes the opportunities and a challenge posed by ideological and political education in the era of big data, and puts forward the basic principles that should be followed in collecting and analyzing student information in the era of big data. Finally, the paper analyzes in depth the development status and difficulties of the innovative ideological and political education of the ＂E-Class＂ platform in colleges and universities in Guizhou Province, and explores the paths and models for innovative ideological and political education based on the new media technology big data.
